People are not broken. They are shaped.
Trauma-Informed Therapy | Restorative Resources | Group Spaces for Growth
Support for anxiety, trauma, burnout, emotional overwhelm, relationship challenges, and major life transitions.
Therapy available to adults, teens, and families in Texas & Oklahoma.
Resources, groups, and learning opportunities available beyond the therapy room.
What you’ve lived through, carried, adapted to, and learned along the way can shape how you experience yourself, your relationships, and the world around you.
Sometimes those patterns help us survive. Sometimes, over time, they begin to make life harder.
Therapy can be a place to understand what shaped you, tend to what still hurts, and make room for something different.
People are shaped by what they’ve lived through, carried, adapted to, and learned along the way.
Sometimes moving forward begins with therapy. Sometimes it begins with a conversation, a group, a resource, or simply having the space to understand yourself differently.
Renew Restoration creates room for that work in different ways, because growth doesn’t have to follow one path.
You can start with what fits where you are.

You don't have to have everything figured out before reaching out. Therapy gives you space to slow down, understand what you're experiencing, explore patterns that may be affecting you, and develop healthier ways to move forward.
If you're struggling with something that isn't listed here, that doesn't necessarily mean we're not a good fit. Therapy is individualized, and we can talk about what you're experiencing and whether my approach can support you.
OUR APPROACH
Most of us learn how to function long before we learn how to heal.
The ways we cope don't come from nowhere.
We learn how to protect ourselves, keep going, manage difficult emotions, stay connected, avoid pain, or simply get through what is in front of us. Some of those patterns may have served us well for a long time.
Healing doesn't require judging those responses or blaming yourself for having them.
We get curious about them.
Together, we explore what shaped the pattern, what it may have helped you navigate, how it is affecting your life now, and what you may be ready to do differently.
How I Work
My approach is trauma-informed, relational, and depth-oriented. Therapy is tailored to you rather than built around one method or technique.
Depending on your needs, I may draw from EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, mindfulness-based practices, and elements of DBT and ACT.
These approaches give us tools, but they don't replace understanding you as a whole person. Your experiences, relationships, patterns, strengths, and goals help guide the work.
The goal isn't simply to feel better for a moment. It's to understand what's happening, create more choice in how you respond, and build change that can continue beyond the therapy room.
Hi, I’m Catrina. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and the founder of Renew Restoration.
I created Renew Restoration as a place where people can slow down, be honest about what’s happening, and start making sense of what they’ve been carrying without feeling like something is wrong with them.
I believe people make a lot more sense when we understand what shaped them. The experiences we’ve had, the relationships we’ve been part of, and the ways we’ve learned to cope can all influence how we move through life today.
My hope is that when you’re here, whether for therapy, a group, a resource, or something else, you find space to understand yourself a little more deeply and discover what moving forward can look like for you.
I’m glad you’re here.

Resources for healing, reflection & growth.
Healing often begins with understanding what's happening beneath the surface. Groundwork is a collection of self-paced courses, workbooks, devotionals, and practical resources created to help you slow down, make sense of the patterns that have shaped you, and create space for meaningful change.
Explore what speaks to where you are and move through it at your own pace.
Thoughts on the patterns, experiences, and beliefs that shape how we live.

Many approaches focus on symptom relief or short-term coping strategies. While those can be helpful, they’re not the endpoint here. This work goes deeper, uncovering the patterns and influences driving your behavior so you can create lasting, meaningful change rather than temporary relief.
